Wow this 48,901 told to be original mile Malibu turned into this Super Sport Restomod is absolutely stunning! It is powered by a Vortec 5.7 liter Fuel injected V8 engine backed up by a smooth shifting 700 R 4 Automatic transmission with overdrive. This Fast and fun Chevelle comes equipped with power 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, aftermarket tachometer, gauges, headers, dual exhaust, ford 9 inch with 373 gears, and is riding on a brand new set of BFG RWL tires wrapped around some deep dish Cragar SS rims in the back and 14 inch on the front. With that nice staggered look it gives this chevelle a great old school muscle car look with a new muscle car power, handling, and feel. Its Exterior red paint is older and still looks amazing from front to back. Its black bench seat interior is a nice combination of original with minor updates. This car runs and drives great down the road and is ready to jump in and enjoyA
This is a letter from the previous owner on the back story of this solid Malibu! An elderly woman from Iowa Falls initially bought the 1972 Chevelle. The original color was gray. One day, she was backing out of her garage and damaged the rear quarter panel. A high schooler by the name of Mike Sweeter purchased the damaged car from the lady. Mike repainted the car red and black to delineate his school colors. Mike enjoyed the car throughout his high school and college career. When recently married, he sold the car to its long time mechanic, Randy Knipple. Throughout the years of Mike Sweeter owning the car, Randy performed various maintenance projects upgrades such as a new rear end, new motor, and a new transmission. Many years later, in 2014, Randy pulled the vinyl off of the car and then became ill with a terminal illness and passed away. Harry Jeno was the new proud owner of the ‘72 Chevelle in the year 2015. The car had 45,000 miles on it at the time. Harry bought the car in various pieces and put it back together as well as many other upgrades such as a new paint job, removed the drip rails, maintenance, and two years later installed an LS motor. Harry Jeno has cared for and enjoyed the car ever since
